This semester (spring 2011), the Berkeley City College English department has decided to assess a portfolio of student work. In addition to the in-class essay writing assignment, students in English 1A classes and below will also write a short 3 – 5 page research essay. This page is set up to answer any of your questions about the assignment.
At the end of the semester, students will also develop an online tutorial or help page for future English 201 students who will have to write this research paper.
